My name is Neta Jean. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA where we are known as the dirty dirty and my personal favorite, Rise Up Nation! Ever since I have started this journey in being a footwear designer there has been numerous occasions where I had to rise up and overcome barriers that stood in my path of obtaining my dream: being a footwear designer.

My journey began in 2011 when I decided to attend Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for a BFA in Industrial Design and MA in Design Management in 2015. Since then, I have competed in the first ever YouTube series, Lace Up: The Ultimate Sneaker Challenge, won and currently working for adidas’s One Innovation Team (the Brooklyn Farm). I am not the biggest talker-initially- but each project in this portfolio reflects my voice, my story and to some extent herstory. Thank you for coming and welcome to my website.
